My Professional Background

I joined Attwaters Jameson Hill in 2011. I specialise in private client law, in particular estate administration and probate work, but also tax and trusts, Wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate planning.

After completing my degree in my home town of Hull, I studied for a Graduate Diploma in Law, a law conversion degree course, in Leeds. I completed my Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London, and passed with a distinction.

I trained with a commercial law firm in Leeds, called Lee & Priestley. After qualifying, I moved to London for my first role as a Solicitor.

Achievements / Accreditations

  • Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), after completing the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates with a distinction

About me

I was born in Kingston-upon-Hull in East Yorkshire and have lived in Leeds and London, before moving to Loughton, where I currently reside. I have two dogs, Zara and Mylo. I like to eat Thai and Vietnamese food and also enjoy Sushi. My favourite drinks are whiskey sours and gin & tonic. I enjoy travelling, scuba diving, dog walking and growing fruit and vegetables on the allotment. My dream job was to be an airline pilot. If I could pick someone to join me on a desert island, it would be Bear Grylls – I could sit back and enjoy the beach, while he made sure we were going to survive!
