My Professional Background
I joined Attwaters Jameson Hill in February 2024
I am a Senior Associate in the Commercial Property Department specialising in sales and acquisitions of freehold and leasehold commercial premises, development land, land assembly and multi let premises; financing and re-financing of commercial property opposite commercial lender lawyers; option, overage and S.106 agreements; and all manner of landlord and tenant documentation including transfer of business, i.e. goodwill; fixtures and contents; stock in trade and TUPE.
The role is extremely interesting due to the wide nature and variety of transactions which encompass the area of what is commercial property, ie everything and anything which is not residential property.
I have a wealth of experience and prior to joining Attwaters Jameson Hill I worked at Berwin Leighton (now known as Brian Cave Leighton Paisner) for 12 years, The Council of the Borough of Broxbourne for 18 years; and Duffield Harrison LLP for 5 years. A partcular work highlight for me was being assistant to a Senior Partner at Berwin Leighton at the time Tesco built the Brookfield superstore.
I was born in Reading, Berkshire and raised in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.
I am the eldest of three siblings and have two girls now 30 and 27.
I like any type of food and enjoy eating out with family, friends and colleagues. Generally I prefer wine to spirit.
Most recently I lost my horse of a lifetime. He was 29 years old and I bought him when he was 4. I trained him to 5th level (Advanced Medium) dressage, and we competed affiliated to British Dressage for several years until his retirement. I still enjoy riding an advanced dressage horse at a nearby training centre once a week. I also enjoy golf and paddle tennis.
As a child I wanted to be a then referred to Air Hostess, but correct to say Cabin Crew, as it would have been fun to see the world.
My ideal desert island companion would have to be a younger Richard Gere.
