My Professional Background

I qualified as a solicitor in 2004 having completed both the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in London.

I joined Attwaters Jameson Hill in 2022 as a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor. As well as acting in the purchases and sales of commercial property and land, I act for both landlords and tenants in the granting and renewal of commercial leases including offices, shops and warehouses. I have carried out commercial property transactions for developers and businesses.

Prior to joining Attwaters Jameson Hill, my most memorable transaction was acting for an international retail brand (with over 100 stores around the world in over 40 countries) in a lease of their flagship retail store in Regent Street, London.

I have also acted in residential property transactions for high net worth individuals in the purchase and sale of properties, many for over £1 million, and have acted for a number of well-known clients in the music industry and in sport.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, I worked in a large commercial property department at an international law firm based in central London where I handled transfers of property between NHS Trusts and Primary Care Trusts as well as working on a high profile project for the NHS.

Prior to attending BPP Law School, I worked on telephone and internet banking projects in the London IT Infrastructure Projects Department of a major UK banking institution.

My legal ‘claim to fame’ is being the solicitor who acted in the sale of the property at the centre of the House of Lords case, Stack v. Dowden [2007] UKHL 17.

About me

I was born and raised in Harrow and attended The Haberdashers’ Aske’s School in Elstree, which began my relationship with Hertfordshire where I have lived since 2008.

My wife is a personal trainer, pilates and yoga teacher which helps to balance my love of food and cooking. Our free time is generally spent entertaining our daughter and son and we can often be found at a zoo or one of the many Hertfordshire parks.

I enjoy watching football and NBA basketball as well as American movies from the 1970s-1990s. Although I do not play any instruments, music is a big passion of mine. My wife and I love modern Country music and we attend multiple concerts each year.

My ideal desert island companion would be my wife (and kids).
