Hospital admits failings which led to the death of woman

Madeline Seibert, Partner in the Medical Negligence Department represents family at Inquest heard yesterday.

The family of a woman who was left to fall onto her face in hospital, despite being admitted for a head injury, heard about the ‘serious failings’ in her care at an inquest yesterday.  To read more, click here.

Justin Richards, the woman’s husband states that Frances “was a doting wife, loving mother and loyal friend. She adored our daughter, Lily. All of the family and everyone who knew Frances well is completely devastated by her death“.

Madeline Seibert, Medical Negligence Partner, represented the family and adds “it is of some comfort that from this tragedy lessons have been learned and steps taken to improve training and standards of care in the Emergency Department“.
