My Professional Background
I joined Attwaters Jameson Hill on the 4th November 2019 as a Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Probate department. I deal with general private client law to include preparing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyship orders, Probate and Administration of Trusts and providing inheritance tax advice. I find helping and supporting clients through a stressful and difficult time in their lives such as losing a loved one or supporting an elderly relative very rewarding. I am a people person and strive to form relationships of trust and confidence with my clients and aim to deal with their matters efficiently and with empathy.
I went to Bournemouth University to study Law and took my Law Practice Course and Professional Skills Course at the University of Law in Bloomsbury, London. I then worked for a year as a Paralegal in the Residential and Commercial Property in a London practice. I trained for two years in a high street firm in Chelmsford where I was retained as a Private Client Solicitor. I undertook seats in Residential and Commercial conveyancing / Litigation / Employment and Private Client law.
I have lived in Essex the majority of my life. I grew up in Hornchurch, moved to Bournemouth for four years for University. I now live in Gidea Park with my partner and a tabby cat called Branston.
I love any food with a spicy kick; my go to is Pad Thai with papaya salad and my go to drink is a strong Yorkshire Brew with the occasional gin and tonic at the weekend!
I love keeping fit, running, travelling and I enjoy watching live music in my spare time. My childhood dream job was a Zoo Keeper as I wanted to look after the elephants! If I was on a deserted island then my ideal companion would have to be a comedian – Peter Kay or Michael McIntyre.
