Josie Rogers

Trainee Solicitor
Dispute Resolution

My Professional Background

I joined Attwaters Jameson Hill in July 2016, when I joined the Commercial Department as a Legal Assistant. In January 2017 I was fortunate enough to join our Family Department as a Legal Secretary, and shortly after became the Paralegal within the team; a role which was busy, demanding and rewarding.

Whilst at Attwaters I have been able to develop and progress my career with the support of the firm. Although I have an undergraduate degree in Politics, I later transferred my skills and undertook the Graduate Diploma in Law in order to convert my degree because I knew I wanted to go into the legal profession. I have now completed my Legal Practice Course and graduated with a Masters in Law, Business and Management.

In December 2018 I started my training contract and my first seat is going to be within the Dispute Resolution Department working as part of the Civil Litigation Team, which I am really looking forward to.

I am looking forward to qualifying as a Solicitor, which is not that far off now.

About me

I have lived in Hertford most of my life, apart from 4 great years in Manchester whilst I was studying.

In my spare time I enjoy going on city breaks, dining out, a glass of red wine and a G&T or two, dog walking, horse riding, playing hockey and spending time with my family.

If I was on a desert island I would probably chose Louis Theroux and Tom Hardy to be my companions.
