My Professional Background
I joined Attwaters Jameson Hill in April 2017 as a Nurse Advisor within the Medical Negligence department. My role involves assisting with the understanding of medical records. I enjoy the investigative element and advocating for the public.
I studied in Cambridge and at the Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford. I have over thirty years’ experience as a nurse, covering most disciplines. I have worked as a Ward Sister several times and as a Clinical Manager for the Out-of-Hours service.
Achievements / Accreditations
- Member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- BSc (Hons), RGN, Dip Health Studies
I was born in Finchley, London, but moved to a small village in Norfolk when I was 10. I have three sons and a daughter, six granddaughters and one grandson. I love crusty home-baked bread, accompanied by a decent, strong cheddar. I also enjoy a roast beef dinner and a glass or two of Jack Daniels. My hobbies include: gardening, music and history; when I was a child it was my dream to work in forensic medicine. I have a phobia of spiders. If I were to visit a desert island and was allowed a companion, I would either choose Eddie Izzard, or Henry Tudor.
