My Professional Background
I am a Licensed Conveyancer within the Residential Property team, specialising in freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, right to buys, remortgages, transfer of equity and equity release. I really enjoy conveyancing; helping people move to their dream home and also love my team at Attwaters Jameson Hill. There are many years of collective experience within the team and there is not a problem that one of us can’t solve.
I began working for Attwaters Jameson Hill in 2013 and was promoted to Associate in 2016. I started work for a previous firm at the age of 17, as a Junior Float Secretary, and became a Secretary for the Conveyancing department in 1997. Having gained lots of experience, I decided to progress my career by taking a Licensed Conveyancer course at Chelmsford College. I qualified in 2009, by which time I had over 10 years’ experience in running my own caseloads on a fee-earning basis.
I live locally, with my husband and two young children, who now take up all of my ‘spare’ time. I am a qualified PADI scuba diver and I’ve undertaken two solo parachute jumps for charity, as well as a tandem sky dive. I do find a trip to the theatre and a nice meal with wine is slightly more relaxing! I enjoy Italian food and would say my favourite tipple is a glass of prosecco. I like to socialise with friends and family; I have a phobia of snakes. My dream job would be to sell wedding dresses and if I was stuck on a desert island, I would like my husband and children with me.
