My professional background
Prior to the merger in November 2019 I worked for Stafford Young Jones for over 30 years assisting many clients working predominantly in the City with their residential property transactions. Initially many of these clients were employees of the national high street banks who had their “staff branches” near to our offices and who we had close links with.
Those early introductions have stood the test of time and I have continued to act for many of my first clients on numerous occasions and in some instances have gone on to act for their children!
As the City became more international and people from abroad came here to work I began to be instructed by foreign clients in their transactions. This has required me guiding many of them through what they regard as a very complicated process compared to ownership of property in their own countries.
I enjoy the interaction that property transactions enable you to have with clients, and am always willing to discuss proposals and to investigate how myself and my colleagues will be able to help achieve a successful conclusion to a client’s instructions.
At the weekend I spend my time getting annoyed with my golf game!! Whenever possible I enjoy watching cricket …. especially at Lords.
The perfect Tarte Tatin still eludes me………….
