Attwaters Jameson Hill receives outstanding praise in the latest version of the prestigious directory, Chambers and Partners

Four solicitors and two departmental teams at the firm have been judged among the best in their respective areas of legal work. They have all been placed in the two highest bands of successful lawyers in the directory.The four partners, who work in town & country planning, family law and medical negligence, have achieved either the highest Band 1 ranking or Band 2 status after assessment for the new edition.

The medical negligence team as a whole is also rated as Band 1 and the town & country planning team as Band 2. Additionally, the firm’s personal injury team under partner Sheenagh Parsons is listed by Chambers & Partners for the first time.

Robert Jameson, partner in charge of town & country planning at the firm, has his established Band 1 ranking confirmed after an in-depth review of his performance. The directory includes this summary assessment of his qualities: ‘breadth of experience, ability to focus on key issues and clarity of advocacy’.

Family law partner Joyti Henchie appeared for the first time in Band 2 in last year’s directory and has creditably gained swift promotion to Band 1 this year. The directory’s informants had solid praise for her ‘wise and practical counsel, highly approachable nature and unending patience and empathy’.

A longstanding Band 1 qualifier, medical negligence team head David Kerry is singled out as a star performer this year. Effusive comment on his qualities describes him as: ‘compassionate and thorough, prepares cases very well and demonstrates exceptional pragmatism’.

Also in medical negligence, partner Madeline Seibert retains her commendable Band 2 ranking, and so rates among the cream in this complex and delicate area of work. The directory reports these remarks from a client: ‘I was very impressed with her attitude and demeanour towards me. She was sympathetic and explained the possibilities to me’.
