Standout Legal 500 results for Attwaters Jameson Hill

The Legal 500 directory has been analysing the capabilities of law firms around the world for nearly 30 years. This year’s results have again highlighted Attwaters Jameson Hill’s truly outstanding lawyers and our extensive legal knowledge and expertise.

Our “competent, efficient and friendly” Family Law department comprises a team of “capable, helpful and committed” solicitors, and has been lauded for its “niche expertise” and “great client service”. The department was ranked as a Tier 2 practice by the directory this year, the second highest tier that can be achieved in the results. Joyti Henchie, Partner and team head, was again named a ‘Leading Individual’ for being a “stand-out practitioner” who “undertakes the most complex work to an exceptionally high standard”. Associate Solicitor Louise Eady was listed as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ and described as “efficient, organised and motivated”. Also praised were our “sympathetic and down-to-earth” Associate Solicitor Stephanie Holmes and Sara Roddis, a “dedicated, hardworking and extremely personable” new Solicitor. Also ranked as a Tier 2 department, our “competent but personable” Medical Negligence team was praised for its “excellent regional reputation” and the fact that it “works on many high-quality cases without losing its local presence in the community”. We act for clients on a wide spectrum of matters, including medical negligence during pregnancy and labour, orthopaedic injuries and cases concerning the suicide of psychiatric patients. Our Wills, Trusts and Probate team received acclaim as a “respected and growing force in the market” offering “services beyond most firms’ capabilities”. The team excels in advising high-net-worth, elderly and mentally vulnerable clients. Partner Lesley-Ann Mayhew was described as a “very capable performer” and ranked as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ by the directory, for the second year running. Our Dispute Resolution team acts for clients in property, tenancy, building, boundary and neighbour disputes, among other matters. Our Personal Injury department is headed by Sheenagh Parsons and was described as “extremely able, experienced and approachable” by the directory. With experience in workplace injury, industrial disease, noise-induced hearing loss and fatal cases, among other areas, the team also offers services to non-native speakers residing in the UK. The “consistently helpful” and “very smart” Salvatore Amico heads up our Planning department, which was described as a “very good all-round planning practice” providing “excellent industry knowledge”. The team also includes our “excellent” Consultant Rob Jameson, who was honoured to be listed as a ‘Leading Individual’ for the second time and “is always able to identify key issues”.
