High acclaim for our outstanding solicitors in the latest Legal 500 results

On behalf of Attwaters Jameson Hill posted on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019

We are proud and delighted to announce that Attwaters Jameson Hill has achieved another impressive set of results in this year’s Legal 500 directory.

We were recommended in nine practice areas, while 19 of our lawyers were specifically named for their hard work and expertise in their field. In addition, three of our solicitors were awarded prestigious “Leading Individual” status, while two were named as “Next Generation Lawyers” and one as a “Rising Star”. The Legal 500 directory has been providing comprehensive worldwide coverage on the most highly recommended law firms for nearly 30 years, assessing their strengths in over 150 jurisdictions and determining those firms that are providing “the most cutting edge and innovative advice” to their clients.

Our Partner Lesley-Ann Mayhew was actually awarded two titles in the 2019 results. Named a “Leading Individual” for her excellence in Court of Protection work, she was also awarded the title of “Next Generation Partner” for the high quality of her advice in our “strong” Wills, Trusts and Probate team. The directory complimented her for her “strong work ethic, a deep and wide knowledge of the issues and always ensuring that advice is provided promptly.”

“Stand-out lawyer” and “exceptional practitioner” Joyti Henchie, Head of the Family Law department here at Attwaters Jameson Hill, was also one of the three “Leading Individuals” named this year, yet again retaining the title she has won numerous times previously. Lauded as “a leader in her field”, the department was praised as the “best family law firm in Essex” which is “impressive in the way they prepare their cases and the service they provide to clients.” Also receiving “Leading Individual” status for yet another year running was Consultant Rob Jameson from our Town and Country Planning team, who “always provides clear, understandable advice in a timely manner.”

Also recognised on the Town and Country Planning team was Head of Department Salvatore Amico, who was recently promoted to the position of Partner. Named a Rising Star in this year’s results, his department was described as “highly competent and very well versed in planning laws and precedents; it is also very responsive and communicates well with clients.”

On our Corporate and Commercial team, which “is experienced in advising start-ups on a range of commercial matters, and also handles restructuring and reorganisation mandates for corporate clients”, Head of Department Mark Stigwood was named as a “Next Generation Lawyer”.

Commenting on this year’s results, our Managing Partner, Andrew Flannagan, said: “We couldn’t be more pleased with this year’s results, which spotlight the outstanding work our solicitors perform across a range of practice areas. They show us to be a firm that is committed to caring for and communicating with its clients, that is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes, and that continues to grow and develop with every passing year.”
