Announcing our new Associates

On behalf of Attwaters Jameson Hill posted on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Stephanie Holmes and James Sherwin to become Associates at Attwaters Jameson Hill. Ironically, both Stephanie and James started out as office juniors within the firm, and worked to firstly become Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX), then continued their studies to become dual-qualified as Solicitors, all whilst working; which we as a firm encouraged and supported.

Stephanie first joined us in 1997 and returned in a trainee capacity in 2000. At the time she worked predominantly in our Family and Criminal departments. She has worked solely in our Family department, in a fee earning capacity since 2004. She advises on all areas of Family Law and is a part of Resolution. Stephanie has gained a wealth of experience over the years and throughout her time studying, having been able to benefit from hands-on experience.

James joined Attwaters & Liell (as was) in November 2006. He had previously been working in shipping and logistics, but decided on a change of career. He joined the Medical Negligence department in 2007 and quickly developed his own full caseload. James deals with a wide range of medical negligence claims, including orthopaedic injuries, complex bowel perforation cases, ophthalmic cases, fatal claims and delayed cancer diagnosis. His specialism in spinal injury cases means he has worked on several claims involving Cauda Equina Syndrome.

Our Managing Partner, Andrew Flannagan, said, “Stephanie and James encompass everything we encourage from our staff; they are dedicated, driven and take genuine pride in what they do. They are an asset to Attwaters Jameson Hill and we are delighted that they are now Associates of the firm”.
