On behalf of Attwaters Jameson Hill posted in Uncategorised on Thursday, August 14th, 2014

We have just obtained admissions in a case where our infant client suffered brain damage (cerebral palsy) at the time of her birth that this was caused by negligent care at the time.

We have just obtained admissions in a case where our infant client suffered brain damage (cerebral palsy) at the time of her birth that this was caused by negligent care at the time. We intend obtaining an interim payment of damages, subject to court approval, to help our client and her family. It may be several more years before we can properly assess the value of the claim, and settle it, as it is unclear, at present, what problems she will have in the future as a consequence of her injury, as our client is vey young.

David Kerry, Senior Partner and Head of the Medical Negligence Department is dealing with the case on behalf of the injured child.
